We do this by working together as a team to retain and expand our client base by delivering a high level of professionalism that is both efficient and ethical. About Us.

Founded in 1985 by Peter McIntyre, Lake of the Woods Insurance is built on the reputation of being a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable atmosphere. The office is now owned by Peter's daughter Tracy McDonald. Tracy continues to bring the same values and commitment to the office which Peter took pride in.

Our office has grown from a tiny one room, one personal sales staff, to our newest location on Lakeview Drive in Kenora. Our new location, offers a bright new facelift and a strong qualified team of local residents, designed specifically with Northwest Ontario in mind.

Even though our appearance may be different, we are still committed to providing strong, professional and personalized service. Our staff brings experience from several different fields, some in insurance, some outside of insurance. We believe this diverse background lends to advice based on personal experiences.
